What Is the Difference Between Chamilia and Pandora

So after saying for years that I didn't really like the whole charm braclete trend I recently decided that I liked them and I informed DH of this. So of course he was asking which would prefer pandora of chamili. While I kind of like the charm selection better at pandora, chamila carries disney ones and we LOVE disney! Being that is where we spent our honeymoon I would love a disney themed one. So now I'm torn so thought I would ask you ladies. Does anyone prefer one over the other and can you explain why?? Thanks 🙂

I have a Pandora bracelet that I absolutely love! My DH and family have bought charms for it over the years for different occasions and its actually all filled up now! I dont have much experience with chamila but if they carry the Disney charms and that holds special significance for you I say go for it!

you can swap! ;P the charms will fit either. pandora and chamilia are interchangeable, don't listen to the salespeople who will tell you it'll "break" it lol. I own trollbeads, chamilia, and pandora. I personally like trollbeads best. it was the original (pandora copied them!!), and has the best selection of glasswork. their silvers are also more intricate, whimsical. aaaand, the bracelets ends are thinner than pandora/chamilia, so ALL beads will fit troll, but if you get a pandora or chamilia bracelet you won't be able to play with trollbeads (the core on trollbeads are smaller).

I have a Chamilia bracelet, but as people have said before you can have both pandora or chamilia charms. From what I understand, Chamilia was created by someone who used to be a part of Pandora and they broke away and did their own thing… which is exactly the same thing!!!

Either or, it doesn't really make much difference. It's just up to you what bracelet you'd prefer, you can change the locks on the aswell!! But like you said, Chamilia do have a lot of Disney charms, you may also be able to get a 'start' bracelet from Chamilia with three Disney beads on it, you'd have to have a nose about.

I love bead bracelets. I think every brand has at least a few beads that are nice looking, but in general I preffer Pandora over Chamilia, there are many more pandora beads that i want than from chamilia. So, my advice would be for you to buy a Pandoraor trollbeads bracelet and put beads of other brands on it if you want.

I personally prefer pandora. Chamilia charms have a little more of a selection, but I feel like pandora charms are waaaaaaay more detailed and elegant.. I don't like mixing of the two brands bc I have way too much of an OCD lol! I do however have a single chamilia Disney charm… I Had to have it. DH and I honeymooned to Orlando FL. I saw the Mickey ears blue glass charm in one of the disney boutiques and had to have it as a souvenir! SO– Here is my pandora bracelet! I am actually waiting for my teacup charm in the mail…(lol part of our honeymoon memoir as well. And plus the teacup ride in Disney has always been my favorite, all good memories!)! I went for a blue and green theme, along with the classic silver. My bracelet means a lot to me. My mother gave my bracelet as a giift, along with two other charms for Christmas of 2011. I have had it for only a year and a half and it filled up very quick!!! It's a sick but beautiful addiction haha! All of my charms are from my mother Nd husband. I have treated myself to just a couple. My mother passed jan. of 2013 so my bracelet is extremely sentimental to me.. My favorite charm is definitely the angel — i was given it by my mom last christmas. I always look at it for comfort when I'm missing her… Especially with it being the last charm shell ever give to me. This is definately a fabulous tangible memory that you can hold onto! I can't wait to start my next pandora bracelet! Soon enough;)
